Cindi Porter:  Managing Broker/Owner

Ms. Porter is our Managing Broker, the Principal Broker for East Tennessee Waterfront Properties, and an owner of both that company and East Tennessee Real Estate Company.  She brings over a decade of banking and real estate experience to the business world. As a long term resident of the area, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the local market, both on and off the lake. Her background and connections into the banking world make her a valuable asset to our customers. Her intricate understanding of the area's real estate market makes her an invaluable part our team.

Gary Venice:  Affiliate Broker/Owner

Mr. Venice is an Affilate Broker with East Tennessee Waterfront Properties and an owner of that company as well as East Tennessee Real Estate Company. He has over 25 years of electrical engineering and business management experience. He previously owned and managed a multi million dollar engineering firm. His work took him all over the globe, managing the construction of manufacturing plants where he built a reputation of providing superior service, getting projects done on time and within or under budget. His dedication to the fine details and logical approach to accomplishing tasks provide a huge benefit to our clients. After selling his business and retiring to this area, Mr. Venice found a new passion in the real estate business and brings to our team the same level of professional skill and conduct that made him successful in the past. His global exposure and extensive travel make him an asset dealing with a customer base that is located worldwide. An avid boater, Mr. Venice has an excellent understanding of the waterways of East Tennessee and the intricacies involved in dealing with the TVA and the Army Corps of Engineers.

Dave Sumner:  Affiliate Broker/Owner

He is a REALTOR^® who can make a REAL difference for you! Having lived and worked throughout the region, Mr. Sumner knows East Tennessee and its lakes and surrounding areas well. Mr. Sumner brings to the world of real estate contracts his two decades of Federal service experience, during which time he was responsible for the oversight of billions in Federal contract dollars. As a senior Federal Regional Director who managed sensitive government projects, Mr. Sumner learned the importance of trust, discretion, and confidentiality. Having grown up in a real estate family, Mr. Sumner truly enjoys making a real difference for his customers. Dave Sumner holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Leicester in Leicester, England. He also holds a Bachelors degree from Roanoke College, Salem, Virginia. He holds twelve national and international professional certifications, owns his own consulting firm, and is on the advisory board of a local college where he is also an adjunct professor of homeland security. He is an active member of several professional societies. As an extensive world traveler, Mr. Sumner is comfortable with customers from around the globe.

Joy Krause:  Principal Broker

Ms. Krause is the Principal Broker of East Tennessee Real Estate Company. She is passionate about real estate, having been a broker for over 30 years. Joy has helped thousands of buyers find their perfect home. She also makes certain that sellers receive the highest price for their house in the shortest period of time. Joy is a respected member of the Rhea County Planning Commission and has assisted many developers with the planning and marketing of new subdivisions. She has earned professional certifications as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and an Associate Staging Professional (ASP). She is sensitive to the special needs of our seniors and also helps sellers stage and prepare their homes for sale.

Nancy is an Affilate Broker with East Tennessee Real Estate Company, and is our spunky grandmother who is a serious business woman at heart. A life long travel agent, she owned her own agency in Rhode Island for many years and then left New England to enjoy the warmth of the Florida breezes and continued her career as a travel consultant specializing in very detailed independent itineraries around the globe. She comes to Tennessee with a wealth of knowledge, a lifetime of personalized service to the upscale market and a love of the beauty and simplicity of life on the lake. Robbin is an Affilate Broker with East Tennessee Waterfront Properties. Having an established career of over 28 years in the world of Accounting, Finance and Management, Robbin has myriad business experiences to bring to the real estate market. After attaining her MBA in 1998, Robbin had more time to devote to the things she loved to do. One of those "loves" was personally investing in and studying real estate markets. After several years of buying and selling for herself, Robbin decided to expand her love for the real estate business by helping others realize their own real estate dreams. Erica is an Affilate Broker with East Tennessee Waterfront Properties. An artsy middle child from Chattanooga, Erica succeeded as a business manager in the music industry in Nashville. She prides herself in her excellent organizational skills both in her personal and professional life. An English major, Erica focuses her creative enery on her two favorite hobbies: writing and photography. She loves the opportunity to work in real estate because it combines these two loves while helping people.

Dylan Roberson:  Affiliate Broker 

Dylan is an Affilate Broker with East Tennessee Waterfront Properties. Music was Dylan's career and passion for years. Dylan financed college by owning his own entertainment company. This let him do the things he loves most: meet people, make friends, and travel. Dylan's personal slogan is "I love to make people happy." Armed with his business degree, real estate seemed the perfect fit for his second career choice because it involves meeting people, making friends, and traveling. It also didn't hurt that his family consists of several bankers and mortgage lenders. Jeremy Bivens:  Affiliate Broker

Jeremy is an Affiliaite Broker with East Tennessee Waterfront Properties. Jeremy is very well known in this area, especially in the Ten Mile and Meigs County areas of Watts Bar Lake where his family has deep roots. Jeremy brings many years of successful listing and sales experience with him to our company. He has owned his own real estate company in the past, and has worked on a number of large land development deals in recent years. Jeremy is the listing agent for The Cove at Apollo Shores, an upscale planned waterfront community on Watts Bar Lake. He also is co-owner of the River Road Market in Ten Mile.  At this busy establishment and community focal point, Jeremy makes numerous personal connections, with both local residents and lake vistors, which can help you sell your property. 

Estelle Tufts:  Office Administrator

Estelle is the Office Administrator for East Tennessee Waterfront Properties and East Tennessee Real Estate Company. She brings to our team an extensive background in business operations, having owned her own business in Ohio. A former Floridian, she relates well to our many Florida customers. Her knowledge and expertise in business practices is the "glue" that holds both companies together. An avid boater, Estelle lives on the lake and enjoys the many recreational opportunites that abound in this area.
